January Realtor of the Month – Marcus Miller

Congratulations to Marcus Miller!

Our January Realtor of the Month is Marcus Miller with Keller Williams Kalamazoo Market Center.

Marcus is an incredible Realtor with a unique origin story for his career. From 2012–2021, Marcus was serving a prison sentence for selling drugs. While incarcerated, he experienced a moment of hard truth looking at himself in the mirror. He decided then and there to turn his life around, not just for his own sake, but for his two young children. He asked himself: “Marcus, what are you good at?” And the answer was selling! He was able to learn from Realtors, Loan Officers, and Brokers while in the Federal System. He spent the last 5 years of his sentence studying and preparing, which led him to succeed. When Marcus was released in 2021, he took his state exam and was able to pass on the first go. Now, Marcus is a motivated Real Estate Agent, dedicated to serving his clients and helping others change their lives.

For Marcus, the best part of being a Realtor is the smile on his client’s face at closing! Especially when they didn’t think they could obtain homeownership. Helping them achieve that goal is priceless to him! Marcus is the type of agent who believes in relationships over transactions. He wants his clients to know he will have their back through it all!
