Hustle & Heart Scholarship

The Hustle & Heart
Scholarship Program

In an initiative to empower young individuals in our community, Treadstone Funding is proud to announce the launch of its Hustle & Heart Scholarship Program. Unlike traditional grants, this program prioritizes character, resilience, and community impact over academic performance, providing four (4) $5,000 scholarships, totaling $20,000, to deserving young leaders in Michigan.

What Sets This
Scholarship Apart

This Michigan scholarship is designed to award individuals who embody grit, integrity, and persistence and are committed to improving their communities.

Whether they excel in sports, work multiple jobs, care for family members, volunteer for charities, or lead teams and committees, applicants will not be evaluated solely on grades, but rather their personal stories, impact, and how they plan to use the money to level up.

Funds are awarded directly to recipients, not institutions, giving them the freedom to use the money for tuition, trade training, starting a business, or living expenses.

Who Can Apply?

The Hustle and Heart Scholarship welcomes applications from young adults aged 17 to 19 who are preparing to embark on their next adventure. Whether you intend to pursue college, trade school, launch a business, or enlist in the military, this scholarship is designed for you!

Eligible candidates must reside in Michigan and maintain grades of at least a C-average.

APPLY NOW

You sure can — this scholarship is for anyone pursuing their next chapter, whether it’s trade school, launching a business, or enlisting in the military. We celebrate all paths and endeavors!

We love this idea! However, the candidate must complete the application process themselves to be considered. Send them this page, and volunteer to be one of their references!

Each winner will receive a $5,000 check directly from Treadstone Funding. Think of it as an investment in your next steps — whether that be towards tuition, training, supplies, or living expenses.

While this is not strictly a grade-based scholarship, we do ask that applicants have at least a C-average. Because of this, high school transcripts or your most recent report card will need to be submitted as part of the application process.
