November Realtor of the Month – Doren Colley

Congratulations to Doren Colley!

Our Realtor of the Month for November is Doren Colley with RE/MAX Grand Rapids.

Doren entered real estate shortly after purchasing her first home with her husband. She was drawn to a career that would challenge her while aligning with her passion for everything related to homes. After meeting with the brokers at RE/MAX of Grand Rapids and being inspired by their conversation, she immediately knew it was the right fit. Doren was licensed in 2015 and has been serving buyers and sellers with RE/MAX of Grand Rapids ever since!

Combining her love for helping people with her passion for homes, Doren enjoys meeting new clients, guiding them through the process of buying or selling, and continuously learning about the intricacies of home construction and design. What sets her apart from other agents is her “people first” mentality, along with a strategic, detail-oriented approach to each transaction. Her clients have described her as kind, patient, responsive, and hardworking. Doren’s husband, Nathan, joined her team, using his background in photography, videography, and technology to enhance every listing. Together, they offer more services and exposure than a typical realtor. Motivated by their own less-than-ideal experiences buying and selling their first home, Doren and Nathan are committed to ensuring their clients feel informed, in control, and supported throughout the entire process, even after the closing table. Additionally, Doren is bilingual in English and Spanish, using her education and love for the language to assist Spanish-speaking clients.

When she’s not working for her clients, Doren keeps herself busy with a variety of activities that bring her joy — spending most of her time with her husband, their two boys, and their Australian cattle dog, Dexter. The family enjoys playing board games, spending time with friends and relatives, and unwinding with a good show or movie. Doren also loves to cook and bake, particularly fresh breads. If given the chance, she’ll likely be found rearranging furniture, redecorating, or diving into a new DIY project.
