Max Polakovich

Loan Officer, NMLS 2085922

Nobody grows up dreaming of a career in mortgages — except Max Polakovich. Raised in the business and immersed in it from a young age, Max is the rare exception: a true unicorn who has lived and breathed mortgages his entire life.

A West Michigan native and fourth-generation Catholic Central graduate, Max is deeply rooted in his community. As the son of Kevin Polakovich, Co-Founder of Treadstone, the business is in his blood — but anyone who knows Kevin knows Max had to earn his place. Max sought top-tier training in Denver with one of the nation’s leading mortgage Loan Officers and coaches to do that. Despite his amazing apprenticeship in Colorado, Max knew he’d return home to live and work in the city he loves, where summers by Lake Michigan are unmatched.

A Miami of Ohio alumni, Max completed his finance degree a semester early while serving as the president of his fraternity. He spearheaded the largest philanthropy event on campus for two years, raising over $100,000 for Luna Cares. This local nonprofit supports women navigating the financial and emotional burdens of cancer diagnoses.

Max’s drive isn’t limited to his career. He once trained for and ran 50 miles in a single night with just eight weeks’ preparation — a feat that eventually led him to complete a grueling 100-mile ultramarathon. Now, he’s setting his sights on his next big challenge: competing in an Ironman in April 2025.

An avid Detroit Lions fan, Max is proud to live and work in West Michigan, building his career with the same grit and heart that make him stand out as a mortgage Loan Officer.
