Amber began her career in lending as an administrative assistant at a mortgage company in 1996, before working her way into loan processing and then sales. She has been in the industry ever since, which has enabled her to create a vast knowledge of the homebuying process—from start to finish.

Born in Ohio, Amber moved to Michigan in 1998 and has lived in Grand Rapids ever since. She got her real estate license in 2006 and had a brief four-year stint as a realtor beginning in 2014. This career shift brought Amber to Treadstone Funding to do what she really loves: problem solve in the mortgage industry alongside the industry’s best. Her time in real estate reminded Amber that her real passion is being a loan officer and gave her a newfound appreciation for it.

Her history in team sports not only helped her develop skills such as communication and teamwork but also gave her a competitive edge. Amber’s team mentality made Treadstone an easy transition for her next step within the mortgage industry.

Amber loves spending quality time with her husband, Sam, and her two children, Hitch and Samantha. An Ohio native, you could also find her rooting for the Buckeyes.
