Neighborhood News & Market Insights — Winter 2026

Local Market Insights

Looking at West Michigan real estate compared to the rest of the country; our local market continues to show resilience and opportunity.

One of the biggest shifts we’re seeing right now is increased inventory. While headlines often frame changing numbers as negative, this trend can actually be a positive sign, especially for buyers. More homes on the market means more options, less competition, and better negotiating power. For buyers who felt sidelined over the last few years, this is the most favorable environment we’ve seen since 2017.

Hustle & Heart Scholarship — 2026 Applications Open

We’re proud to continue the Hustle & Heart Scholarship, a program created to support local students who demonstrate perseverance, leadership, and a commitment to their community.

For 2026, $25,000 will be awarded, split into five $5,000 scholarships. Unlike traditional scholarships, Hustle & Heart is not based on GPA or test scores. Instead, we focus on character, work ethic, and the impact students have on the people and communities around them.

Applications are open to students ages 17–19, and we encourage parents, educators, and community members to help spread the word. If you know a student who shows grit, determination, and heart, this could be a meaningful opportunity to support their next chapter.
