Max Polakovich
Nobody grows up dreaming of a career in mortgages — except Max Polakovich. Raised in the business and immersed in it from a young age, Max is the rare exception: a true unicorn who has lived and breathed mortgages his entire life.
As the son of Kevin Polakovich, Co-Founder of Treadstone, the business is in his blood — but anyone who knows Kevin knows Max had to earn his place. Max sought top-tier training in Denver with one of the nation’s leading mortgage Loan Officers and coaches to do that. Despite his amazing apprenticeship in Colorado, Max knew he’d return home to live and work in the state he loves.
A Miami of Ohio alumni, Max completed his finance degree a semester early while serving as the president of his fraternity. He spearheaded the largest philanthropy event on campus for two years, raising over $100,000 for Luna Cares. This local nonprofit supports women navigating the financial and emotional burdens of cancer diagnoses.
Max’s drive isn’t limited to his career. He once trained for and ran 50 miles in a single night with just eight weeks’ preparation — a feat that eventually led him to complete a grueling 100-mile ultramarathon. One year later, he set out on an even bigger challenge: Split the Mitten — an 8-day, 400-mile run from Michigan’s southern border to Mackinaw City. Max became the fastest person to ever run across the state, while raising $57,000 for AYA Youth Collective, a nonprofit that supports kids experiencing homelessness.
Whether it’s in business or on the road, Max brings the same grit, focus, and determination — always pushing limits to achieve big goals and help others along the way.
