With a background in customer service and hospitality, Stuart has a passion for cultivating client relationships. Stu spent years working in the hospitality industry before deciding to return to school for finance. He has always had a fascination with markets and logistics. Although he enjoyed crunching numbers, Stu was missing the human interaction that he had enjoyed in his previous jobs.

Looking for the human touch is what led Stu to Treadstone. He found that residential mortgage lending was the ideal combination of numbers and customer service. Being able to use his financial clout to problem solve while positively impacting people in his community is a win-win.

Mentoring under the best in the industry, Stu began the extensive Loan Officer training program with Treadstone two years ago. As a Loan Officer, his approach is warm and inviting. He understands that the home-buying process can be stressful, so he strives to make the financing process as straight-forward and fun as possible and provides top-notch customer service along the way.

Helping people achieve their goal of homeownership and customizing a loan program to fit each client’s needs is one of Stu’s favorite parts of the job. Even if the client has been turned down by another company, he loves taking a second look into challenging cases and problem solving to help get his clients into homes. He is driven by these stories, and his genuine care for his clients and market knowledge are just some of things that set him apart as a loan officer and make him a great asset to the Treadstone team.

Born in Manistee, Michigan, Stu enjoys spending time up North, and with his dogs Swarley & Maisie, hitting the gym, and adding to his thriving collection of house plants. He also invests in his community through real estate. Constantly looking for a hidden gem, he loves fixing up and breathing new life into old properties.
