A recent update on Facebook’s IOS app ditched the option that allowed users to view the”most recent” posts on their news feed, instead defaulting users to seeing only the posts which Facebook deemed worthy of being a top story.
There is however a time consuming (20 seconds) work around
To get to the “most recent” view of your newsfeed on Facebook follow the below steps.
1. Open the Facebook app and click “more” at the bottom right.
2. Scroll down to where it says “feeds” click in the arrow at the right hand side of the screen.
3. Now click on “most recent” which should be a couple down.
Unfortunately, it does not look like there is yet a way to save this as a default. Hopefully Facebook will see how annoying this is and offer an alternative. But once again, this is a less than crowd pleasing Facebook Update.
