Mint Julep Recipe #1

Ingredients:

2 tsps of water

2 0z bourbon whiskey

3-4 fresh sprigs of mint

1 tsp powdered sugar (regular will work also)

To prepare muddle the mint leaves, sugar, and water in a small glass. Fill the glass with either shaved or crushed ice depending on your preference and then add the bourbon for a kick. Many people like to add more mint to the top as a cute garnish but realistically its not completely necessary. I mean really people who drink bourbon rarely necessitate anything with a garnish.
